Rapper French Montana is officially engaged to Dubai princess Sheikha Mahra bint Mohammed Al Maktoum, according to a report by TMZ.

The Moroccan-American artist, whose real name is Karim Kharbouch, reportedly formalized the engagement in June 2025, with the couple making their first public appearance together at Paris Fashion Week last month.

Rumors of a romance began circulating in late 2024 when the princess shared photos of herself with the rapper in Dubai. Since then, the pair have been spotted together in Morocco, Paris, and at several high-profile events.

Sheikha Mahra, daughter of Dubai’s ruler and UAE Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, is well-known for her philanthropic projects, love for equestrian sports, and business ventures. Her personal life attracted global attention in July 2024 after she announced her divorce from Sheikh Mana bin Mohammed Al Maktoum on Instagram with a dramatic post that went viral. She also welcomed a daughter earlier that year.

French Montana, 40, has had a successful career with hits such as Unforgettable and Pop That, and is also recognized for past high-profile relationships, including one with reality star Khloé Kardashian.

The engagement has sparked wide public interest as it bridges the worlds of hip-hop celebrity and Middle Eastern royalty. A wedding date has not yet been announced.
