Soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo was among the high-profile guests at a black-tie dinner hosted by President Donald Trump at the White House. 

The event was held in honour of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and drew a roster of global influencers, including tech leader Elon Musk, Apple CEO Tim Cook, and FIFA President Gianni Infantino.

During the exclusive dinner, Ronaldo shared details about his legendary career and ongoing charitable efforts. President Trump acknowledged the star’s widespread appeal, noting that his son, Barron, is a significant admirer of the world-renowned footballer.

Ronaldo later issued a statement expressing gratitude for the President and First Lady’s welcome. He emphasised that such platforms are vital for “inspiring new generations to build a future defined by courage, responsibility and lasting peace.”

 

The visit concluded with a private meeting in the Oval Office the following day, underscoring the significance of the occasion. Photos and clips from the event quickly circulated across media platforms, highlighting the rare convergence of top-tier sports, global diplomacy and cultural influence.
