This satellite-to-mobile technology will allow compatible smartphones to connect directly to Starlink satellites for text messaging and data services, even in locations with no terrestrial network coverage. The agreement also includes support for Starlink’s next-generation broadband Direct-to-Cell system, which is expected to deliver significantly faster data speeds — up to 20 times higher than current satellite services.
