Frederick Kumi, popularly known as Abu Trica, has made his second appearance at the Gbese District Court following his recent arrest in connection with an alleged international fraud case.

The suspect is reportedly wanted by authorities in the United States, where he is accused of playing a role in a large-scale fraud scheme that allegedly targeted elderly victims. During proceedings, Abu Trica was escorted under heavy security as the court reviewed the status of the case. Prosecutors indicated that investigations are ongoing, with international collaboration expected as part of the legal process. The court also took note of the extradition-related implications, given the interest shown by U.S. authorities.

Defense counsel has yet to fully respond to the allegations, maintaining that the suspect is entitled to due process and a fair hearing under the law. Meanwhile, the court has adjourned the case to a later date to allow further investigations and legal procedures to continue.

The case has attracted significant public attention due to the scale of the alleged fraud and its international dimension. As legal proceedings unfold, many are closely watching how the matter will be handled by the Ghanaian judicial system in coordination with foreign authorities.
