🚨 Six Arrested in Greater Accra Over Alleged Land Guarding and Firearms Possession
The Greater Accra Regional Police Command has arrested six suspects in connection with alleged land guarding activities and the illegal possession of firearms.
According to a police statement released on Sunday, the arrests followed a distress call received on January 10, 2026, at approximately 12:50 p.m. Alerted officers swiftly moved to the location, where they encountered the suspects allegedly engaged in acts linked to land guarding — a practice the police have consistently warned against due to its association with violence and insecurity.
